Sweep with a soft bristle broom or vacuum (bristles down) as often as necessary to remove any loose dirt or grit as it can scratch the surface of your floor. A "dry mop" method is recommended; use only enough water to moisten the mop but not too much as to soak the floor. We recommend you use the Bona spray floor cleaner with the Bona product range.
Furniture & Rugs
With all flooring we recommend popping some little felt pads under the feet of your furniture to protect the flooring from any drag marks. Also moving any rugs seasonally will protect the flooring from any discolouration overtime.
Tougher Scuffs & Spills
The best advice I can give you when it comes to water on any kind of floor is to clean it up straight away. Acidic soft drinks and other sugary substances can be harder to tackle the longer they’re left. For removing any tough scuff marks or if you are just unsure about what to do about a spill just give us a call and we can walk you through the best options.
Some engineered timber or laminate flooring can be sanded back and refinished. We recommend contacting us for a site inspection to see if this is possible with your product.
